Royal Adelaide Show 2009

The Royal Adelaide Show was magnificent.
I have looked forward to this event for quite some time now.
Fairy floss, show bags, food, and heaps of soft toys is my dream come true.

We went to this year's show on its third day because we don't want to miss out on the show bags and other goodies that might be gone if we went later in the week. Sounds paranoid but better safe than sorry. I really want my show bags and toys!

Then of course, I want to have a go at those fun rides at the show...

We all had such a great time at the show.
There was just so much to see and do and eat!
I didn't win anything this year but Fiona's brother, Douglas won a big Siberian Husky soft toy for me and I am beyond touched. Fiona's Koala Bear is super cute too and there was this panda that was to die for but it went out of stock. I am so depress. Oh well.

This year has been awesome hasn't it?
We have been out partying so much that became our trademark.
This was how we got to know each other and became close friends anyway.
Some go out for dinner with friends to catch up, some go to cafes, but we catch up in clubs and karaoke joints.

End of Soccer Season

This means winter has come to an end.
How odd is it that the soccer season actually ends at the end of winter when spring is just round the corner?
What a beautiful weather to kick some balls but it is such a pity that the season is over.

Well, I meant the Collegiate Soccer League that is.
A few fellas that I know are playing in the league and it was one crazy season.
When I say fellas, I meant boyfriend, housemate, brother and a few friends.

The guys are representing Prince Alfred Old Collegians (PAOC) in the league but they didn't win the cup.
But I reckon it was a good experience.

So moving along, the soccer club had a presentation night in Prince Albert Hotel two Saturdays ago and I was dragged along to the event.

Winter Ball

This year, the University of South Australia's annual winter ball has a masked theme. A masquerade ball.
How very sexy and exciting.
When my girlfriends asked me to go, I didn't give it much thought as I was so intrigued by the idea of attending a masquerade ball.
The first vision that I had in my head was from the movie - Van Helsing, where Count Dracula hosted a masquerade ball while holding Anna Valerious captive. So fascinating.

Then of course there is the ever popular masked ball episode from Gossip Girl.

How can I not be excited?!

The night turned out alright but it was not as good as I expected it to be. But I reckoned we all had a good time together and I did in fact made a couple of new friends. I will be graduating end of this year so I want to experience uni ball at least once.

I actually spent a lot of time, money and effort getting ready for this magical night.
The ball was fabulous but it passed me by too quickly and I had this hollow feeling inside me when it was over. I suppose this is what we refer to as precious memories that we want to cling on forever.

- My boss is a sweetheart and also not in the office at the moment.
- Nothing major to work on currently. I am ahead of schedule.

- Facebook, MSN, IM have been banned. No access at all.

I am finally settled in my new place.
